Körperwahrnehmung und Tanz.

Unter dem Motto ‘Erlebe die Bewegung’ thematisiert dieser Workshop die Verbindung von Körper und Seele im Tanz.
Im ersten Teil liegt der Fokus auf Zentrierung, symmetrischer Ausrichtung, Spiel mit Gewichtsverlagerungen und Körperachse und der Entwicklung des Bewegungsumfangs durch Atemarbeit. Mit Contraction- und Extension-Methoden werden Übergänge zwischen Positionen und Schritten erprobt.
Der Schwerpunkt des zweiten Teils liegt auf der Suche nach der Tiefe der Bewegung von einem inneren Standpunkt aus, auf der Bedeutung eines Gefühls, einer Stimmung und einer Empfindung, dem Erleben und Interpretieren.

Mónica García Vicente
… studierte Tanz am Real Conservatorio de Danza in Madrid und an der École-Atelier Rudra Béjart Lausanne. Als Tänzerin war sie u. a. Mitglied der Company Victor Ullate, des Aterballetto unter Mauro Bigonzetti sowie am Landestheater Linz und der Staatsoper Hannover unter Jörg Mannes. Sie trat als Solistin in Choreographien von Maurice Béjart, William Forsythe, Hans van Manen, Johan Inger, u.v.m. auf.
Mit dem „Connection Dance Center“ in Hannover hat sie ein neues Kapitel in ihrer Arbeit aufgeschlagen. Als Gründerin und künstlerische Leiterin des ‘CDC’ in Hannover trainiert Mónica seit Anfang 2022 junge tanzbegeisterte Menschen und vermittelt ihnen dabei auch die künstlerische Praxis von professionellen Tänzer:innen.

Body awareness and dance.

True to the motto ‘Experience the movement’ this workshop addresses the connection between body and soul in dance.
The first part focuses on centering, symmetrical alignment, play with weight shifts and body axis, and developing a range of motion through breathwork. Using contraction and extension methods transitions between positions and steps are challenged. The second part focuses on searching for the depth of movement from an inner point of view, the meaning of a feeling, a mood and a sensation, experiencing and interpreting.
Open to all ages and levels.

By creating the “Connection Dance Center” in Hannover, she has opened a new chapter in her work. As the artistic director Mónica has been training young people who are enthusiastic about dance since the beginning of 2022 and teaches them the artistic practice of professional dancers.
