Choreographische Versuche zum Tanzstück “Eines nachts…”
Dieser Workshop spielt mit einer Idee aus der Produktion „Eines nachts…“: das Vergangene, das Hier und Jetzt, die Zukunft. Unterschiedliche Improvisationsübungen geben den Raum, sich auf individuelle Weise und im eigenen persönlichen Tanzstil zu begegnen und dabei Schwellen zu überschreiten, in und mit neuen Formen zu spielen, sich abzugrenzen und anzunähern.
Aus dem Fluss der Improvisation werden kleine choreografische Miniaturen entstehen, die wir zu einer Komposition zusammenfügen.
Offen für alle Altersstufen und Levels.

Anja Kozik
… arbeitet seit 1992 als künstlerische Leiterin des Bereiches Tanz der Waschhaus Potsdam gGmbH. Seit dieser Zeit leitet sie das Studio der heutigen Oxymoron Dance Company, unterrichtet und produziert/e als Regisseurin und Choreografin über 15 abendfüllende Tanz- und Theaterproduktionen, die sie durch die unterschiedlichen Tanzstile und -formen auch über die Grenzen Potsdams bekannt machten. Seit 2010 wird Kozik als Gastregisseurin ans Potsdamer Hans Otto Theater eingeladen. Die Möglichkeiten der künstlerischen Begegnung von Tanz und Schauspiel lotet Kozik immer wieder neu aus.
Mit Oxymoron hat sie eine Tanzinstitution fest im Kulturbild Potsdams und Brandenburgs verankert. Durch ihre Arbeit schafft Anja Kozik es, ein stabiles Netzwerk an Künstler*innen aufzubauen und diese zu begeistern, sich inhaltlich und genreübergreifend in experimentierfreudige künstlerische Prozesse zu begeben.

Choreographic experiments connected to the dance piece “One night…”
This workshop plays with an idea from the production “One Night…”: the past, the here and now, the future. Different improvisation exercises give the space to meet each other in an individual way and in your own personal dance style, crossing thresholds, playing in and with new forms, letting go of yourself and finding new ways to reconnect.
Small choreographic miniatures will emerge from the flow of improvisation, which we will combine into a composition.
Open to all ages and levels.

Anja Kozik
… has been working as an artistic director of the dance department of the Waschhaus Potsdam gGmbH since 1992. Since that time she has been leading the studio of today’s Oxymoron Dance Company. There she teaches and produced more than 15 full-length dance and theater productions, which made her well-known beyond the borders of Potsdam thanks to the different dance styles and forms. Since 2010 Kozik has been invited as a guest director to the Potsdam Hans Otto Theater. She repeatedly explores the possibilities of artistic encounters between dance and acting.
With Oxymoron she has firmly anchored a dance institution in the cultural scene of Potsdam and Brandenburg. Kozik manages to build up a network of artists and to inspire them to embark on artistic processes that are open to experimentation in terms of content and genres.
