Improvisation als Gruppe & in einer Gruppe.

Der Workshop ist eine Mischung aus Kontakt- und strukturierter Improvisation. Im ersten Teil des Workshops schaffen wir in der Gruppe ein Interaktionssystem, das aus Möglichkeiten verschiedener Kontakt- und Gruppen-Bewegungen besteht. Im zweiten Teil testen wir dieses System als Gruppe, in der wir ohne Worte, nur über Körpersprache miteinander kommunizieren und uns so zusammen bewegen.

SueKi Yee
… ist eine Tänzerin aus Malaysia, die derzeit in Deutschland lebt und hier choreographiert, unterrichtet und auftritt. Neben ihrer Ausbildung in Ballett und zeitgenössischem Tanz interessiert sie sich stark für traditionelle Tanzformen wie Joget Gamelan, Bharatanatyam und Zapin. Eine besondere Leidenschaft gilt der Improvisation und genreübergreifende oder multidisziplinäre Experimentiere. Ihre Arbeiten beschäftigen sich mit (Multi-)Identität, Erinnerungen, der Wahrnehmung des weiblichen Körpers und der körperlichen Vergänglichkeit. Ihre Arbeiten wurden in Mexiko, Malaysia, den Niederlanden, Portugal, Griechenland, Deutschland, Brasilien und Ghana gezeigt.

Contact & Impro

Improvisation as a group & in a group (open level) 

This workshop is a combination of contact work and structured improvisation. We will establish a system of interaction comprising of different possibilities through contact or group movement in the first half of the workshop. In the second half, we put our system to the test with everyone moving together without talking, communicating with each other only through body language.

SueKi Yee 
  is a Malaysian dancer currently residing in Germany where she choreographs, teaches and performs. In addition to her training in ballet and contemporary dance, she has a strong interest in traditional dance forms such as Joget Gamelan, Bharatanatyam and Zapin. A particular passion is improvisation and cross-genre or multidisciplinary experimentation. Her works deal with (multi-)identity, memories, the perception of the female body and physical transience. Her work has been shown in Mexico, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Greece, Germany, Brazil and Ghana.
